The Queens 1st goalscorer competition for this season will begin again on Saturday when Queens visit Livingston. The format will be the same as last season, but with a variation on the scoring system. This time I have given each player points based on the likelihood(or my opinion!!) of them being 1st scorer. These points along with the ‘No Scorer’ and ‘Subsequent Scorer’ points will remain constant for the season. Any Queens player scoring a hat-trick will receive a 10 point bonus.Only league games this season, so that’s 36 rounds.
For the purposes of this game if Queens 1st goal in a game is credited as being an ‘Own Goal’, then the next goal-if any-will be the 1st goal. However, if Queens only goal during a game is an ‘OG’, then this will be deemed as no Queens scorer and any player who selected the ‘No Scorer’ option would get the points.
Like last season the game is just for fun, but a Queens related prize will be awarded to the winner. In the event of a tie, the winner will be the player who had the most 1st scorers correct.
