It will be a case of deja vu this weekend, as once again bottom of the table Queens take on the top team in the 1st division. After Queens victory over  leaders Hamilton last Saturday, the result allowed tomorrow’s visitors Morton to take over at the top of the table. Games at Palmerston against Morton have long been a trickery affair for Queens, as it seems that the Greenock side have enjoyed their trips to Dumfries too many times in recent years, and with the visitors now being the only unbeaten team in the league, tomorrow’s game will be another hard one for Queens.

It’s fair to say that Morton will be firm favourites to win this one, and having lost just once in 10 games this season, and having scored no fewer than 28 goals in all competitions so far, they would certainly seem to be worthy favourites and Queens would appear to have only a slim chance of collecting the points. However, if the players can produce a performance as good as last Saturday, then there is every chance that Queens could take something from the game. To find out for yourself, why not get along to Palmerston at 3pm tomorrow and get behind Gus and the players.

  1. Danny Carmichael for 1st scorer against Morton please.
