Queens ‘stole’ what could turn out to be a vital point in Saturday’s clash with Morton at Cappielow, as goals from Sam Parkin, and Dan Carmichael enabled Queens to claim what was a very fortunate point. With just 5 games of this very disappointing season left, Queens have still only recorded one solitary win away from Palmerston, and with the next away fixture coming at Dens Park, Dundee tomorrow, it wouldn’t appear that that record will be changing anytime soon, especially when you view the current form of both teams.

Over the last 6 games Dundee have won 4 and drawn and lost 1 game, in contrast Queens have won 2, drawn 1, and lost 3. Dundee have only been beaten once in the league so far in 2012, and you have to go back to Boxing Day last year when they last lost a home game, Morton the winners by 2 goals to nil. So it is going to be an extremely difficult game for Queens and any points gained would be a welcome bonus, but the signs don’t look good and there are not many fans expecting anything other than another away defeat.
