Queens face yet another ‘must win’ game tomorrow as they travel to Kirkcaldy to play Raith Rovers knowing that if they don’t match or better Ayr’s result against Dundee,  they will be relegated from the 1st division.

The only time Queens have recorded a win away from Palmerston this season was at tomorrow’s venue, and Queens must hope that the same thing happens again if they have to have any chance of preserving their 1st division status, although with the team lacking confidence after failing to score in their last 2 games, it looks like a forlorn hope. Craig Reid’s injury looks likely to keep him out of the side, and Chris Higgins will certainly not play because of his sending-off last week against Livingston, meaning that Queens will have major problems in defence. Raith are almost assured of 1st division survival, but need just a solitary point to make completely certain, and following last week’s impressive victory, they look to be in good form so Queens will have to be at their very best to claim a vital win. Can they do it?? I’m not sure, but all will become clear tomorrow.
